Google Maps

In geometry we have been looking at directions on maps. We have learnt what a compass looks like and the directions: north, east, south, west, NE, NW, SE, SW. I remember it by never eat soggy weat bix. In this task we had to find places. I found easy was see if there close. I found challenging was finding the far away ones.

Straw Rafts

Miss Mg we had to plan, design, build and test a product or theory. Mrs Mg gare us a challenge. We had to plan+design+build a straw raft to float with 40g of weight on it. We could only use 20 straw and easy tape to ripe and put on. We research about how rafts float and found Being gaseous bubbles with positive buoyancy, they push the straw up until the remaining buoyant force balances the mass of the straw. You can often dislodge the bubbles from the straw by jiggling it in the soda, and thus get the straw to settle closer to the bottom of the bottle. We found making the raft challenging because it took a long time.

Oink and cluck

Today we doing activity called oink and cluck. I found 6 ways of there were chickens and pigs I contd count them because they were moving. But I saw 36 six legs. So chickens have two legs pigs have 4 legs. I found 18 chickens I counted them when there where in pairs. I found 7 pigs and 4 chickens. I found 4 pigs and 10 chickens. I found 5 pigs and 8 chickens. I found 8 pigs and 1 chicken. I found 7 pigs and 3 chickens. I found easy was counting. I found hard was solving these answers out.

Directions
